School of Nursing

We sit at the brink of a new health care era defined by a vast increase in the number of people requiring special health care services, the growing complexity of health care delivery, and the availability of complex treatments. At the same time, the proportion of the population who are elderly will reach 20% and more and more preventable chronic conditions will occur, while the nation faces a serious shortage of nurses and nursing faculty.  The Yale School of Nursing seeks to assure that the best and the brightest nurses are available to care for this changing population and to address the nursing faculty shortage. With your help through Nursing Tomorrow, we will be able to continue our leadership in assuring that society’s needs for nursing are met.
