University Art Gallery
It is a real privilege to be leading the Gallery at this point in the institution’s history. Like Yale as a university, the Gallery is at the forefront of its field and well-poised to help lead the way in further defining the important role that teaching museums can play in the 21st century. It is now offering forth numerous new educational initiatives, expanding important contributions to art historical research, providing strong support to living artists, and boldly expanding Yale’s collections in order to better represent a full array of human creativity made manifest by many cultures over broad expanses of time.
